Blair Nicholson, our new seasonal ghillie on Mamore, has had a busy start with JAHAMA. Here’s what Blair had to say

‘‘I started the week with induction days at the Smelter and Killiechonate after these, I started helping and carrying out maintenance at Mamore. I did jobs such as cutting bracken back on verges, painting, drainage, Argo cat vehicle maintenance, and Argo cat track maintenance. Overall getting prepared for the busy season ahead. The weather has been brilliant the last couple of weeks, but the midges have been horrific, and the deer have been wise by staying way up in the high ground away from the all the flies and midges. The dots on the attached photo of the pickup are not specks of mud, but thousands of midges’’
