Stalker’s Cottage
Stalker’s Cottage sits within the busy central hub of JAHAMA Highland Estates, our yard at Killiechonate near Spean Bridge.
A traditional one-and-a-half-storey cottage, in Victorian times this house was occupied by the head stalker and is semi-detached with one of our staff properties. It has been recently refurbished as a sustainable holiday let, and opened in July 2021.
Heated by an air-source heat pump, the accommodation at Stalker’s Cottage sleeps five and includes:
Open plan kitchen-living space with wood-burning stove and door to outside picnic table
Utility room
Entrance hall with space for boots and coats
Downstairs shower room and upstairs bathroom
One double bedroom, one twin bedroom, one single bedroom
Large external store for mountain bikes, kit and equipment etc.
Dog-friendly by prior agreement
Situated within a working agricultural and sporting landscape, this is nevertheless a very convenient property close to the River Spean and attractions such as Nevis Range, the north face of Ben Nevis, the East Highland Way and the Killiechonate Woodlands Estate trails. It is designed to appeal to outdoor enthusiasts. Stalker’s Cottage does not have its own enclosed garden, but does have an outdoor seating area to the rear. Parking is to the side of the cottage next to the external store.
Stalker’s Cottage has both Wi-Fi and mobile reception, but these are not suitable for significant usage such as downloads and streaming.
