Filming
JAHAMA Highland Estates is an epic, inspiring landscape that has already featured in numerous films and television programmes.
With unique locations such as the north face of Ben Nevis, Garva Bridge, Steall Falls and the Blackwater Reservoir, the Estate is also popular for product placement and advertising.
We require those wishing to utilise the Estate to agree our standard location contract for filming rights and also for image licensing. Commercial fees are payable, with some exceptions depending on the nature of the request, and we usually require a visual and/or audible credit. We require a minimum of £10m public liability insurance.
Drones: JAHAMA Highland Estates is a sensitive working landscape, with active operational infrastructure as well as regular attendance by the emergency services including Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team (which utilises a helicopter). We ask anyone wishing to fly a drone on our landholding to contact us first to discuss their proposed activity, and if flying in a commercial capacity, the Estate’s consent will be required and the operator must evidence all necessary qualifications and insurances.
