Bothy closures

Jahama Highland Estates support the position of the Mountain Bothies Association in relation to the shutting of all bothies across Scotland in relation to the current Covid-19 situation.

In line with current UK and Scottish Government advice instructing the public to remain at home, Jahama Highland Estates have ceased access to Melgarve bothy located on General Wades road at Glen Shero.

We ask for the support of all the members of the public whom have always enjoyed visiting and recreating on our properties to ensure they stay at home and maintain social distancing, until further advised. We would ask those members of the public whom are currently camping or overnighting in camper vans on our properties, to return home.

These are extraordinary times and we look forward to the recovery phase, enabling access in the future and to welcoming you back.

From all at the Jahama Highland Estates team…..stay safe and look after one another.
